Dr. Hamilton grew up in Northern California but migrated to West Michigan for his undergraduate studies. After graduating from Calvin College he did his doctoral work at Wheaton College Graduate School earning a Doctor of Psychology degree. His dissertation research was on life satisfaction and how we evaluate our parenting and our marriage. He is married with 4 children.
Dr. Hamilton is a general practitioner working with older children and adults. Individual issues range from life transitions and identity formation to the crippling experience of anxiety and depression. He also works with couples from the premarital stage throughout the marital lifespan.
