Lisa Lamancusa, MA, LLP

After many years working in the legal field Lisa returned to school and received an MA in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.   Lisa is a licensed therapist with  over 12 years experience in the mental health field.   If you struggle with anxiety, depression,  relationship issues, traumatic memories or are just feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope,  she is a  therapist that can help you identify your strengths and resiliency leading to a more fulfilling life. Lisa’s role as a clinician is to provide  clients with a compassionate, caring,nonjudgmental environment helping individuals work toward their full potential at a pace that feels safe and secure.  She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Mindfulness Therapy,  EMDR and Trauma Model Therapy by the Colin A.Ross Institute. Lisa strives to help clients by providing a Person-Centered approach and uses a variety of modalities depending on each individual’s unique needs.  An area of special interest is working with young girls and women helping them to actualize their true selves.  She also treats men and teens.    Areas of focus include but are not limited to:  women’s issues, anxiety,  depression, mood disorders,  domestic violence, life changes, stress management, grief/loss,  relationship issues, divorce,  pet loss, PTSD, dissociative disorders and spirituality.
