I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist and a Certified Professional Life Coach with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology obtained in 1998 from Western Michigan University. I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2000. I enjoy working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral struggles. Many times pursuing treatment can be very scary. Thinking about sharing your deepest pain, feels beyond miserable; but fear not as I strive for treatment to always be offered in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to your individual needs to help attain personal growth. I have thoroughly enjoyed providing support through psychotherapy and life coaching and it has been an honor as a therapist to be a part of the healing and development of other’s lives.
I have experience working with a wide variety of life-adjustments and mental health issues which include: major mood disorders, depression and anxiety, Bipolar, OCD, divorce, parenting support, behavioral control, work and career issues, stress management, family discord, conflict resolution, and specializing in adolescent issues which include: behavioral, identity development, and mentoring.
My clinical orientation/treatment approach is client-centered, psychodynamic utilizing cognitive behavior therapy style with a compassionate, direct approach in personal accountability, self-acceptance, and building a life of abundance through healing from the past and mapping future desires.
